THE STRIKE.

NEW ZEALANDERS IN A ROUGH AND TUMBLE. “MAKE GOOD.” _ ' I [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.40 a.m.) Sydney, December 16. A party of New Zealanders who formed portion of the Maheno’s scratch crew on her last trip were watching the departure of the Manuka when they came in collision with a crowd on the wharf and were somewhat roughly handled. They managed to make good in a rough-in-tumble. They do not blame unionists, but attribute the attack to the hoodlum element.
