The Peninsula and Orient Shipping Company shows a profit of £225,592 for the past year. A dividend of 5 per cent, has been declared. 'The sum of £50,000 lias been placed to the repair and renewal account, £75,000 to the general reserve account, £57,910 to the underwriting fund, and £56,717 has been carried forward.

A HANDSOME LEGACY.
