[Br Eleothio Telegbaph—Copybight] [United Pares Association.] (Received 9.5 a.m.) -Berlin, December 12.
The Budget Committee left the final decision of the San Francisco exhibition subsidy to the Reichstag. Herr Delbruck recommended that it be rejected on the grounds that German industrial firms were apathetic, also that the unsatisfactory trade outlook and the falling revenue did not warrant the expenditure.
It was officially announced in the Reichstag that the Government would not participate in the San Francisco exhibition. There is insufficient time to prepare a worthy exhibit. There was danger to the exhibit from earthquakes.., •while traversing the canal. The motion favoring participation was withdrawn.
