N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY CO., LTD. The Now Zealand Loan and Mereancantile Agency Company, Ltd., Stratford branch, report as follows: — On Tuesday, 9th inst., we hold a safe of pedigree Holstein bulls on account of .Messrs Gunn and Sinclair, Raetihi. Those hulls have been imported from Canada and were selected from the very best milk and butter-fat producing Holsteins. The bulls, which are about 20 months old, were sold as follows : Lot 1, King Johanna Walker, 20gus. ; Lot 2, Prince Keyes Trump, 24gns; Lot 3, Sir Pontiae Evertje Tvol, 20gns; Lot 4, Mercena Evergreens, 25gns; Lot 5, Pietje Johanna de Kol, 25gns. On Wednesday, 10th inst:, we held our usual monthly sale in our Kohura:ahi yards. The day was one of the worst known in the district for years. About 104 head of cattle were yarded, prices being as follows:—Bulls 82s Gd to 100 s, store cows 82s, yearlings 50s. During the week we have disposed of stock privately as follows:—Fat owes and lambs 20s to 225, mixed 2-tooth lis Gd to 14s, 4-tooth wethers 15s 9d, 2 tooth wehers lis, ewe and lambs IBs -Id to 20s, yearling steers 64s to 665, store cows and calves 86s.

Mr New King lias received the following advice re London wool sales: — ''Sales have closed, 15,000 bales being held over,. Compared with last London sales closing rates, merino best description, market shows no change. All other descriptions of wool declined 5 per cent."
