Of 429 ,ca§t,'s for breaches of awards in which proceedings were.taken try. the Labor Department, 390 were decided in favor of the department, 38 were dismissed, and one ease is incomplete. In seven cases conducted by the unions 'three convictions were recorded, and four cases were dismissed. The number of
cases brought before the Conciliation Commissioners, tip to March 31. -was 118. Of these, 74 disputes were settled by mutual agreement, 23 were partly settled, and 21 were wholly re-
ferred to the Arbitration Court
