THE DRUIDS.

HALF-YEARLY MEETING. On Tuesday night, December 9th, the Druids held their half-yearly installation meeting, when there was about 40 members present, including visitors from Hawera, Eltham, Manaia, Inglewood and Wellington Lodges. The District President, Bro. Jos. Harding installed the following officers for the current term:—A.D., Bro. C. Johnston ; Y.A., Bro A. Nelson ; secretary, Bro. J. W. Jones (re-elected); treasurer, Bro. H. Burmester (re-, elected); 1.0., Bro. Baker-Green; Q.G., Bro. L. Sharrock; A.D.B’s., Bro. J. K. Stone and Bro. J. Sharrock; V.A.B’s., Bro. W. Barlow and Bro. W. Sheriff. After the installation, the usual refreshments were partaken of, when a long toast list was gone through, together with a musical programme. A very enjoyable meeting was brought to a close about midnight.
