Coun-sel-s'ta:ted that Wootton is going to Australia for a year. The Newmarket bloodstock sales have-closed (states a London cable). The sales aggregated 713 lots, which realised 308,6.58 guineas—a record. A Melbourne cablegram states that M:- Sol Green has purchased the English stallion, White Star for 8000gns.
