TROOPS AND TOWN SUFFER

The Kaiser", after consultation'with Herr von Bethmann-Holhveg, Count Wedel, and General von Deimling, decided that the Zabern garrison should go on manoeuvres until further orders are given, and the courtmartial completed. [United Press Association.] Berlin, December 6. The Zabern troops have been sent to the dreary Hagenau barracks.
The Zabern people demand the punishment of Colonel von Renter and Lieutenant von Foerstner. In this demand the Radicals and Socialists join. It is believed that the Chancellor offered his resignation, which the Kaiser declined to receive.
REMOVAL OF THE REGIMENT. Berlin, December 7. Zabern has been satisfied with the punishment of the offending officers. The removal of the regiment will seriously affect the town's economic position unless another regiment replaces it.
