Alfred Smith! manager of Metiers’ foundry, Sijbiaeo, has died of a sliot •wound. • A' man named Standard, an ,eip.pl(\v,ee. in, the. foundry, has been iemanded on a charge of murder. It is alleged that trouble emitted between, him and the manager. He visited the manager’s office, and two revolver shots were heard. Smith was found wounded, and declared that Standard had shot him.
