[Per Press Association.] AA r elliugton, December 3. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 o. SECOND READINGS. The Counties Act Amendment Bill, the Police Offences Act Amendment Bill and the Judicature Act Amendment Bill were read a second time pro forma and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee, Owing to the absence of a large number of members at Auckland, the Council did not deal with the Orders of the Day, but adjourned at 3.23 p. The Hou. F. H. D. Bell expressed the personal opinion that he knew no reason why Parliament should not adjourn on Saturday week.
