LONDON WOOL SALES. (.Received 10.10 a.m.) London, December 1. Wool was unchanged with good general competition. FINANCIAL. Tire cofisol market is depressed owing to Canada underwriting a four million four per cent, loan at 9<. ihe last issue, made at the end of September. at 99, and not yet fully paid, is now quoted at two per cent, discount. The Hon. Thomas Mackenzie has induced the Port of London authority to abolish discounts on storage rates, which are of advantage to large moat producers against smaller competitors. The Authority has also reduced the rates from 22s 9d per ton t0.20s 9d for the first month, arid 20s to 18s Od for tho second month. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. ' (Received 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, December 2. The wool sales have re-opened. Crossbreds are slightly easier, otherwise the sale is unchanged.
