Manchester Handicap, of 250 sovs; one and a quarter miles.—Otaliu 1, Birkline .2, Odessa 3. All started. A splendid finish, and won by the narrowest margin. Time, 2min 16sec. Cheltenham Hurdles, of loOsoys.. If miles.—Aberbrothoek 1, To Wheetu 2, Windage 3. Scratched: Timothy. Won by a neck after a good race. Time, 3min 31 1-osec.
