DENHAM v. FERRICKS

[By Eleotrio Telegram—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 10.15 a.m.) Brisbane, November 29. The jury awarded I). V. Denham £3OO in the libel case against Fevlicks and awarded Denham Bros, the same amount. A stay of execution was granted to enable the defendant to appeal.

Denham Bros, also sued the Warwick Argus, published at Warwick, for £IO,OOO, for libel, but the action wan discontinued, the defendants publishing a special apology and paying the costs.
