SHEARERS SUPPORT THE STRIKE PARKED INCREASE IN THE CUSTOMS. [Pkb Press Association.] Wellington, November 22. Mr Laracy, the secretary, states that the Shearers’ Union is responding well to the strike levy; also that it had voted £IOO to the strike funds. Twenty-nine vessels are alongside the .wharf to-day, and 26 are being worked. The Customs returns for the last four weeks were respectively £1873, £-1866, £9675, and £25,970.
