The Parliamentary Committee of the Trades Union Conference does not intend to recommend the sympathetic strike. It favors continuing to support the Dublin strikers in every way.

In the pearl necklace case, Brandstetter testified that Gutwith, in Antwerp, offered him a necklace for a million or a million and a half francs. Witness communicated with Quadranstein and negotiations were then started.
MININC DISASTER.
(Received 12.25 p.m.) New York, November 19. Sixteen dead have been recovered from the mine at Acton, Alabama. Twenty are still missing, including many negroes. MEXICO. (Received 12.25 p.m.) London, November in. A message from Bridgetown. Barbadoes, states that the British cruiser squadron was peremptorily ordered to Mexican waters to protect British interests.
