FAMOUS JERSEY SALE.

The attention of our Jersey fanciers is drawn to a most important sale of pedigree Jersey stock to be held next June on behalf of W, V. Harkness, Esq., of Tariki. Mr Harkness lias for many years been closely associated and keenly interested with matters pertaining to the Jersey, and as a breeder of pedigree stock his name has for years been far famed. The whole of his pedigree cows, 33 in all, will be submitted, absolutely without the slightest reserve, tints offering a splendid opportunity for those inclined to the Jersey. The two cows recently imported will not be sold. Mr Harkness has been dairying and breeding pedigree Jerseys for tire last 14 years, and has never had a clearing sale. Mr Harkness invites all dairymen and Jersey fanciers interested, to call at their pleasure and inspect the cows during milking, embracing an opportunity at the same time to inspect young stock by undermentioned bulls. Hie homestead is situated about It miles from the Tariki station. -With the exception of three of thoiodws, the whole herd has been bred'''by the owner, practically founded on Pride of Egmout blood.
