Chicago film makers offered £2OOO to pose for pictures. An acceptance of the offer is unlikely. A wealthy committee of local Jews is providing for his future. Beiliss, interviewed, said lie was treated abominably while in prison for thirty months. "I was kicked and beaten, and the authorities seemed anxious for me to die," he said.
