Brisbane, November 17

In the lihel case Den ham versus the Daily Mail, a verdict was returned for plaintiff for £4-50 and costs. This is apportioned as £3OO for D. P. Denham and £l5O for Denham Bros. The jury added a rider that the evidence completely exonerated plaintiffs from the charges made against them in the Legislative Assembly.
