One 6f the most attGdcTiv’e - features >f the Hawora Show will he the ■ompetitions to he held on both days. Phis year the prize money for these Popular displays of horsemanship unounts to close upon £IOO, besides ivhich a valuable onp and two gold medals, are offered for competition. It is anticipated that the fields will be large and the competition keen in each of the classes scheduled. The winner of the enp in 1910 and 1912 was X. M. Paterson, Hawora ; 1911, J. R. McDonald, I ievin. The cup has to j be won twice in succession or three j times at intervals. The jumps have j been remodelled in favour of huntsmen, and the going is always good.
