[Feb Fuess Association.! Wellington, November. 14. Sir \V. Sail-Jones brought up tlic report of the Committee on the Tramways Bill, recommending that the Bill )e allowed to proceed with amendments suggested by the Committee. The report of the Committee on the Stallions Bill was agreed to, but the Bill will not be proceeded with. The Council went into Committee or. the Shipping and Seamen Amendment Bill, and passed it as far as clause 20, when progress was reported to enable the remaining clauses to be recast. The Cou'nicl went into Committee on the Temporary Employees Bill, which was reported with amendments. By leave of the Council the Bill was read a third time and passed.
