HAWERA SPRING SHOW.
THE DOC SECTION. The dog section'of the Show is attracting considerable attention, and when the entries finally close here it is likely to he specially full list. The special prize list, which will be found in the schedule, embraces nearly every class, and this fact, togethei with ordinary prize money, is no doubt the draw. Yet money alone is not the sole attraction with many exhibitors, for the honor of securing a first award enters largely into the eagerness to exhibit a particular breed of dog. The challenge classes (Kennel Club’s) this year have been awarded to deer hounds and English setters, and should help to "swell the entries under these heads. Entries close on Saturday, loth hist.,.at the office of the secretary (Mr F. G. Tie week). Winter Show Buildings, where schedules and all information pertaining to the show may be obtained.
