The lovcrnmont Railways Amendment dill and the Shipping and Seamen’s Amendment Bill were received from he House of Representatives and also ead a first time. The amendments made by His Exellency the Governor in the Copyrights Bill, New Zealand Institute of Architects’ Bill, and Local Authorities’ mlemnity Bill were agreed to. The Council adjourned at 2.50.
