MR TOM MANN IN CANADA.
The! Toronto correspondent of the London , "Standard" records an incident which occurred at Windsor (Ontario) at a mooting addressed by Mr Tom Mann. He says:—••.Mr Main' is well known here, and lias been received with great courtesy, although his audiences at his lectures have been poor. At Windsor, however, the hall was crowded. Mr Mann, who spoke the usual platitudes of the agitator, was heard without interruption for considerably over an hour. Then, as if chilled by the unresponsive attitude of the working men before him, he launched out into an attack of the wildest and most intemperate character on the monarchy. The effect was electric. Indignation swept "the ball. The president of the Trades and Labour Council rose, and beckoning to the audience, led. the meeting in singing 'God Save tlie King.' Mr .Mann looked confused, gathered up his notes and hurriedly left the mooting. Throughout the country the action Ot the president of [lie Trades Council and the working men of Windsor is apnlauded."
