WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows:
Pirn indications are for westerly a bids, strong to gale, and veering by aest to south. The weather will probably prove very boisterous. Heavy ram is to be expected with rivers using shortly. The barometer is unsteady, but will probably rise after about 16 hours.
