BERNARD’S PICTURES.
To-night’s series of new films direct from Wellington is stated by the management to 'bo the greatest series that has come within their reach. The star item, “The Strength of Men/’ by the famous Vitagraph Co., is an astonishingly virile, vital, and Vigorous dramatic study, introducing beautiful scenery and pulsating with powerful situations. Then there are “The Awakening,” Selig’s exceptional realism western story, and “The Well.” A stirring, moral photo play by the A. 8., Qo., ,“A Concerto for the Violin” isan exceptional Edison drama, magnificently acted.. “The Latest Gaumont Graphic”; ahd an elegant scenic depicting the famous provinces of France and , both highly interesting studies. “Making a Dynamo,” shows, the world’s, greatest electrical workshop and is an educational picture of , high-class education. The comics are well catered for by Tam’s gallant’ Knight,! viewed through rose colored glasses.
