Speaking at a meeting &i the Catholic Federation, Father O'Reilly'warmly attacked a section of the Press for its alleged neglect of Catholic claims. He declared: ' 'The fact is that Catholic voters have been got ready. Wo are thoroughly aroused, and when the time comes wo will hit hard and will not leaVe a foe standing on the battlefield."

The Catholic Federation is widely Organising with a view to the elections. The President explains that they are not seeking to bind the political opinions of anyone, but would concentrate on certain injustices which should be remedied. They were going to find who were friends and who enemies, irrespective of party.
