WEATHER FORECAST.
The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. C. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows : The indications are for moderate southerly winds, hacking by west to north, then freshening. The weather will probably be cool and changeable, but is likely to become warmer, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer shows little movement, but will probably have a falling tendency after about 16 hours.
