After Monterey's defeat the rebels burned the railway workshops and warehouses and 600 waggons, of which 200 were loaded with merchandise. They dynamited 19 engines. The damage is estimated at £370,000. THE REPORTS .UNRELIABLE. (Received 8.0 a.m.) London, November 3. ■ -Tli, Mexican correspondent; of the Tinies says that all the news distributed through Mexican channels is untrustworthy owing to the Yellow Press being often paid by the rebels for sympathetic reports. On personally investigating the matter, he found that both the rebels and Huerta expel any correspondent sending news unfavourable to their particular ends. He instances the Government; reports that all states were free from fighting, but he found personally that the four railways running from the ! United States were blocked by fighting. The rebel troops are mostly uneducated persons; uncontrollable by officers, and the men plunder the rich and poor alike,-' and not ■ content with, killing they mutilate. The Federals are a better class; and only requisition when compelled. ■,. ■■ ;
