She reported that on October 16 two seamen named Schlatter and Enelsen while hauling the t'orebrace, fell overhoard, owing to the vessel lurching. Lifebelts and timber were thrown overboard, and a boat launched, but when it reached the place where the men were last seen, there was no trace of them. •

A LIFT ACCIDENT. Sydney, October 29. A lift at the Dunlop Rubber Company's warehouse, with four men aboard, broke away and dashed to the basement.
