They brought about , twenty people, including eight members of the Ohura \Town Band, and the clerk and chairman of the Ohura County Council. They left Ohura at 8 a.m., reaching Whangamomona at 7 p.m. The roads were very muddy. On arrival they were entertained by a

committee of townspeople. - On Monday a cricket match was played, the home team winning by twenty runs. In the evening a social and dance was held. Mr F. W.
