TARANAKI DISTRICT COMMITTEE At a meeting of the Taranaki .District Committee on Tuesday evening, tile programmes for the Hginont Racing Club’s meeting to be held on February I and 3, and the Stratford Racing Club’s', meeting'tp be held on January 1 and 2 were approved. Trainers’ licenses were granted to T. C. White and J. Claruburt. and W. J. Graham was granted a jockey’s license. Or.. Paget and W. Awdry were granted gentlemen riders’ certificates. A license was granted to Hector Gray, to take effect on the expiration of his diqualification. W. Olliver’s application was granted, subject to his disqualification; being removed, by the Victorian I?a,cing Club, ll / ■
