Bell moved the second reading of, the Victoria College Amendment Bill amending the constitution of the coliogo.; uOne of the principal changes grants two seats on the Council to the Professorial Board, and one to thte.City Council of Wellington. The total strength of the Council is reduced from 16 to 15. The Bill was read a second tim». —The Hon. W. H. D. Bell intimated thai a similar Bill affecting Canterbury College would not, in all probability, bo gone on with.
