At the trial of Shackleton, Shackleton’s secretary testified that Miss Browne’s solicitor refused to receive the share certificates because they were not accompanied by £I,OOO. Douglas Stewart, organiser of the Celtic Trust, testified that when he sold Shackleton 1200 shares, the Trusl had large valuable interests. The case was adjourned.
