The New Zealanders defeated Stanford University by 50 points to nil. Stanford were weak in .the defensive game throughout. The visitors .im the first half scored 26. They utilised fake passing and drop-kicking, completely puzzling, their opponents. In the second half the New Zealanders over-ran Stanford, who were exhausted and unable to play elfect’voiy.
