THE LIBERAL RE-UNION.

MONDAY’S GATHERING. The committee of the progressive Liberal League anticipate a large attendance at the Stratford Town Hall on Monday night, on the occasion of the Liberal re-union. The evening promises to be interesting, as the speakers are all wellknown. Mr J. C. Thomson is a farmer, who will speak on the Land Question. Air G. W. Russell is, perhaps, better known as the temporary Leader 6 of the Opposition during Sir Joseph Want’s absence in England. Mr L. M. I sift, the Independent, is a notable platform speaker, and at Palmerston North is credited with putting his audience in great good humour. After the meeting the visitors will ho entertained at supper, to which Liberals are invited.
