THE V.A.T.C. MEETINC, [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Melbourne, October 15. There was boisterous and cold weather, but a. good attendance for the V.A.T.C. Meeting. The course was in good galloping order. Results: — Hurdles, two miles.—Reigle 11.7, 1; Paymaster,' 9.11, 2; Wisconsin, 10.5, 3. Three others started. Won comfortably by two lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 3miu 58sec. Nursery Handicap, four furlongs and a half.—Traquette, 8.3, 1; Maharajah, 7.10. 2; Indecision, 7.8, 3. Five others started. Won by a short neck, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 57sec. Eclipse Stakes, one mile and three quarters.—Anna Carlovna 1, Sea Prince 2, Eurublus 3. Broadsword, Willow Green, Ahdelosia and Golden Goblet also started. Anna Carlovna challenged Sea Prince at the distance and romped home by 5 lengths with a length between second and third.
