A boardinghouso in Park Avenue, known as "The Turrett," was destroyed by fire early this morning. On hoarder, Miss Lynch, on getting o" the balcony, found hersel fhemmed in by flames, and, wrapped in a quilt, rushed through the Haines. She Mas terribly scorched, but escaped without serious injury. The building was owned by Neumegen and occupied by Mrs Cameron. It was insured for £I3OO in the National office and the contents insured in the New Zealand office for £SOO.
