COLLISIONS AND FLOODS.
TRAIN KILLS 14, INJURES 28. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright/ [United Press Association.] (Received 12.5 p.m.) St. Petersburg, October C. The Kieff-St. Petersburg express collided with an engine at Devi nisi station. Fourteen were killed and twenty-eight injured. FLOODS IN CEYLON, EUROPEAN PLANTER AND MANY NATIVES LOSE THEIR LIVES. (Received 12.5 p.m.) Colombo, October 6. Disastrous floods have opcurred in Ceylon. George Young, a European planter, and many natives were drowned. Twenty-five coolies were buried alive in a landslip.
