DEATH OF MR NICHOLLS. [Per Press 'Association.] Christchurch, October 3. Mr G. B. Nioholls, the No-licens. organiser, injured in a motor-cycle co! lision last niglit, died this afternoon Afi inquest was opened, but was ad journed till to-morrow.
A DENTIST’S SUICIDE. Christchurch, October 3. A well-known Christchurch dentist. Mr Harry V)onald Whifcehouse, committed suicide by hanging in the rooms he occupied as a dwelling-place and surgerj> ,in Hereford Street, opposite the Alliance'‘lnsurance Office, last night. At an inquest held to-day, the Coroner returned a verdict that deceased committed suicide by hanging himself'while in a state of unsound mind. *. *
