AN UNTHINKABLE POSITION.

Lord Northcliffe, speaking at Chicago, has angered women’s suffrage societies by declaring that suffrage for women is impossible in Britain, as women being in the majority would rule the Empire, and such a thing was unthinkable.

The suffragettes declare that they are not striving to get the suffrage in order to boss the men, hut in order to boss themselves.
