CRIFFITH-WADE DISPUTE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright; [United Press Association.; (Received 9.20 a.m.) Sydney, Qctober 2. Speaking at Rycle, Mr Griffiths complained of a campaign of calumny and slander being conducted against him. Referring to-the Medlow land, ho said that some friends had some land adjoining, and because he put a few pounds with them into the poultry business, it is pretended he is doing something discreditable. Ho paid a tribute to the morning papers, declaring that \vithout their aid the Wade party would shrink up like a parcel of worms in the blast of a furnace.
