Sir Almroth Wright has published a hook entitled “An Unexpected Case Against Woman Suffrage.” Elaborating the arguments of his famous letter, ho states that the woman voter in the Colonies is only a pawn in the game of politics and of the opportunist, politicians who enfranchised her. Moreover, there was no women’s question in the Colonies. English women who were threatened with starved and | frustrated lives can emigrate and go ( to a humbler social class where they can earn livings arid possibly become mothers.
