DEATH OF PATRICK FORD

The Irish leader, Patrick Ford, has died in New York ox pneumonia. The Dublin correspondent of The Tunes says that his dead is a heavy loss to the Nationalists, ami will make Mr Redmond more anxious to get Home Rule. It is believed that Ford was instrumental in obtaining contributions of three millions to the party funds.
Mr J. M. Robertson; a member oi the House of Commons, speaking at Newcastle, declared that Sir E. Carson's provincial government scheme was an economic blunder and a practical impossibility. It would not work for a week. The British Post Office will cease all communication with Sir E. Carson's party, thus isolating Ulster and bringing trade to a standstill.'
