SERVIA AND ALBANIA.
ANOTHER BALKAN BLAZE. NEWS FROM SEVERAL SOURCES. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] Rome, September 2d. A telegram from Athens says that a critical position has arisen, Turkey demanding a Greek idemnity for tho families of 12,000 prisoners of war who died in Greek prisons. Belgrade, .September 2d. The Albanians pillaged and fired Debra, and are now marching towards Ochrida and Kitchevo. The Servians arc greatly outnumbered, and arc retreating, awaiting reinforcements. Servia is calling out the Morarea division of the First Reserve, and the Drina and Danube divisions. The Catholic Archbishop of Durazzo is supporting Essad Pasha, who accuses Ismail Boy of being the hired tool 'of the Italian propaganda. Ismail is reported to be accumulating funds prior to flight to Europe. Paris, -September 2d. The foreign bourses are weak, owing to the disquieting news from Albania. Berlin, September 2d. A semi-official statement declares that the Powers will not permit any lengthy occupation of Albania hy Servia. Sofia, September 25.
General Vazoff, in a letter to M. Milinkoff, repels the recent calumnies against the Bulgarians. He declares that their administration of Adrianople and Thrace has been imbued by sentiments of humanity which are vouched for by the Russian Consul at Adrianople, and also Gen-j era! Broadwood, who, with the British Consul, were entrusted with the distribution of the relief fund after the fall of the fortress. , Jaimes —Sydney Sun Special Cables. (Received 8 a.m.) Rome, September 25. The Servian Ambassador states that the Albanians are led by Bulgarian officers, proving that the attack represents a desperate Bulgarian move. The Albanian army numbers 40,000 well armed men. The Times, in a leader, declares that if it is the intention of the Greeks and Serbs to prove that an autonomous Albania is not feasible by placing every obstacle in its way, they may find the result directly contrary to their interests an dexpectations. (Received 12.20 p.m.) London, September 25. Servia has protested to the Powers against Bulgarian officers leading the Albanian insurrection and requests the Powers to require their withdrawal. Servia is concentrating troops to retake Dihra.
