HERD - TESTING. STRATFORD ASSOCIATION. The following are the figures for the first season’s 30-day period in connection with the Stratford and Midhirst Associations: — The Stratford period ended on 20tb September. The best herd aveiaged 37.891 b butterfat, and the worst 19.851 b, while the average Association cows produced 27'.251b, the best cow gave 53.82 and the worst 9.12. The ten highest cows averaged 42.81, and the lowest ten 14.33. The highest quantity of muk given by one cow was 12751b5, which, at a test of 3.3, produced 42.071 b of butterfat, while the lowest quantity of one cow was 2851 b, testing 3.2, which produced 9.121 b.
