"Le Matin" asserts that a friend of Quadratstein states that Scotland Yard arrested a sixth individual concerned in the pearl robbery who informed the police that he alone knew where it was, and that he offered to return it if liberated, and arranged that a man,should place the pearl in a street highway so that the detectives could pick it up accidentally. Home declares that there is not a tittle of truth in the storv.
