A DRUNKARD'S DEATH. Wellington, September 2:.'. -William John Mallett, a labour, aged 38, who was arrested in the city on Saturday for drunkenness, died in the hospital to-day. She was discovered staggering about the road by a passing farmer and his wife. and was suffering from serious injuries V the head and face. She was conveyed to the Riverton Hospital in a precarious condition.
