CHARCED BY A BULL. A settler of Rabotu, Mr A. \V. | Phillips, had a very narrow escape j from a serious aeident on Tuesday j evening, states tile News, tie was engaged with his brother and two or three others in mustering cattle 1 on a bush section at the back of Rari- i haka, when a wild bull suddenly char- ( ged his horse, throwing it with con- ! sidei'ahlo violence to the ground. Mr J Phillips fortunately fell clear, ami the ; hull was drawn off by the dogs before ! it could turn its attention to him. | The horse received a very nasty gash 1 on its chest, where it had been im- j piled, necessitating several stitches.
