The Assembly negatived the proposal to submit the question of a State lottery to the voters at the forthcoming elections.
MR COOK ANNOYED
Melbourne, September 18
In the House, on rising to reply to Mr Fisher’s attack on the Electoral Bill, Mr Cook was subjected to continuous interruptions by the Opposition. He finally declined to proceed, and left the House.
