BROKEN FILL STRIKE. (Received 8.30 a.m.) Sydney, September 17. The Broken Hill strike has virtually collapsed. Many shop employees, particularly females, ignoring the resolutions to continue the fight, broke from the union and accepted the employers’ invitation to resume. There was some counter demonstrations, hut the police were active in checking any attempts at interference.
